The Ball of figs, and Palluni e ficu in dialect, is a typical product of the area of Cosentino and represents one of the oldest working. It is produced from dried figs, baked in natural cooking, once cooled, we get the balls as big as a fist, made up of about 20/25 figs and 250 grams heavy. Are wrapped in fig leaves dried and bind with raffia: an open and eat is an explosion of sweetness that fills the mouth permanently.
They're great to offer as a dessert with dessert wines or with a Marsala
