The company "RANGO" was born in Cassano
at the Ionian Sea, the pleasant town of the Province of Cosenza,
home production fichi.Antonio Ranngo inspired from old family
traditions, it was thrown with great enthusiasm and dynamism in
this adventure just to send to the younger generation the value
of "things once made at home."
Dried figs "Rango" will be produced with traditional skills and
carefully selected and processed by hand without the use of
preservatives and dyes strictly old jealously guarded family
recipes.
Our fig trees growing naturally in the Mediterranean but only in
different localities of the province of Cosenza, reaching the
excellent organoleptic characteristics, thin skin, few seeds,
fruit elongated, fleshy body and creamy.
The various stages of processing have remained unchanged, after
harvesting the figs more mature in the period August-September
are placed to dry in the sun course on "Cannizzo (trellises
constructed entirely of crushed cane and open, intertwined with
each other).
Rango Antonio, with the help of family members personally
follows every stage of processing, by careful selection of raw
materials (figs, almonds, walnuts, etc..) Packaging of the
